Yes 👍🏻 Being in that small crossover area (yep, I like both, I’ve been doing both for ages, and I’ll happily fork over money for both hobbies and have the double stash to prove it…) - I’m delighted. Off to explore my stash aka stash shopping 🛍️🧶

Cute! The fit at the underarm looks great. Have you ever tried an I-cord tool like the Cordsmith I keep seeing? It looks super fast but I have a hard time envisioning how it works when you’re edging an actual garment, not just making miles of i cord

It's lovely to see you've released a knitting design, congratulations! It fits in with your existing designs so well with its modern look. I love the delicate heathering of the yarn in the example knit and the cut! Perfect for summer. I just had to share it with my readers in my latest Tuesday post.

Also want to give a shoutout to the amazing illustration on the new pattern (bow to your illustrator!), the links to the videos, and the little Easter egg pants sneak peek 👀

I like this. I never usually knit for summer any more after a few times I spent ages knitting things to find they were just too hot... I remember a strappy tank top in rowan summer tweed. Sooo hot! Unpicked immediately. But I can see this in one of my sportweight linens. Nice.

Really? camps? that's so weird. I started sewing and knitting for myself when I was about 12 and mummy was bored of knitting. Loved it and also loved crochet. I was bored of waiting for the family dressmaker to fit me in so I started concocting elasticated baggy trousers in bright wild silks I bought cheap, just taking the crotch off my jeans and taking off the side seams. And then I started buying my own Burdas, and took off. Anyway, sorry, long preamble, but basically I love sewing and make most of my clothes including lingerie, I knit and crochet and sew my sweaters and cardis, and since a couple of years I have been weaving on a rigid heddle loom. Trying hard to resist weaving fabric for sewing because my fabric stash takes up even more space than my yarn stash. I like to let yarn tell me how it would be used better - some like to be crocheted not knitted. Unless I buy it specifically for something.
