wowww thank you so so much for this deep dive. I just bought the pattern and I'm using my thompson coat project as a distraction from the election in the US in the next couple of weeks (whew ugh)! I'm especially excited about that flannel lining from mood- hoping for a really cozy winter coat!
Yeah, old house wiring is a whole thing--but you will be glad you did it. Just make sure they put in more outlets than you think you will need- ask me how I know🙃🙃.
About instructions, I really appreciate what Scroop does. Leimomi has one set that are basically a slightly elaborated order of construction and a second set with more handholding. I've found it very useful-- I always start with the ooc and then refer to the other if I have questions, but really like not being bogged down with words/pics I don't need.
I love the Thompson and I'm SO thrilled for all the new updates and releases. I'd been waiting to make my second one until they came out 😋 I've been wanting a lining.
